Another new feature this year is our "Guest Professor." Each term, we will visit with some of academia's brightest minds. Today’s guest is Professor David Victor Hanson, currently a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and Fellow in California Studies at the Claremont Institute. Until recently, he was professor at California State University, Fresno, where he began teaching in 1984, having created the classics program at that institution.
